2 blasts hit Syria capital, state news agency says

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) -- Syria's state news agency says two "terrorist explosions" have struck the capital, Damascus.

There was no immediate word on casualties in the Saturday morning blasts.

According to state TV, one blast was in the customs building. The other was in the capital's al Wasala district.

The report said preliminary reports indicated they blasts were car bombs.
