WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) -- Bryan Little scored the go-ahead in the second period and the Winnipeg Jets earned a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
Winnipeg has 56 points, winning its first home game after a 2-4 road trip.
The Maple Leafs are seventh in the conference, one point ahead of Ottawa. Toronto had won three games in a row and lost only one in its previous six coming into Winnipeg.
Chris Thorburn also scored for the Jets.
Phil Kessel scored his 30th goal of the season for the Maple Leafs.
Kessel opened the scoring when he coasted smoothly around Winnipeg defenseman Tobias Enstrom to slip his shot past Ondrej Pavelec at 11:06 of the first period.
