Arkansas earns No. 6 seed in NCAA tournament


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Arkansas is returning to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2003.

The Razorbacks (23-8) earned a No. 6 seed in the tournament and will play Dayton in the first round of the tournament on Saturday. They will face the No. 11 seed Flyers (23-6) in the College Station, Texas, regional.

Arkansas finished fifth in the Southeastern Conference this season after opening league play 0-4. The Razorbacks rebounded with a program-best eight-game winning streak in SEC play, and they later won the school's first game at Tennessee.
