AC Milan President Berlusconi visits practice

MILAN (AP) -- AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi is making another visit to the club's training ground on Thursday, after his previous two trips had a positive effect on the team.

Berlusconi arrived at Milanello by helicopter just after 1pm local time.

It is his third visit to the training ground in less than two weeks. Previously Berlusconi had not been to Milanello since October 2011.

Berlusconi's first visit had an immediate effect as Milan came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at title-chasing Napoli before going on to secure qualification for the Champions League knockout stage.

He returned ahead of Sunday's match against Juventus and Milan went on to beat the defending Serie A champion and current leader 1-0.

Milan, which is up to ninth, plays eighth-placed Catania on Friday.
