Ohio man accused of raping boys to be in court

TROY, Ohio (AP) -- A 39-year-old adoptive father charged with raping three boys in his care and prostituting one of them is scheduled for a court hearing Tuesday in western Ohio.

A hearing is scheduled in Troy in Miami County for the man jailed Friday on $800,000 bond. The Troy man is charged with three counts of rape and one count of compelling prostitution.

He also faces child rape charges filed Thursday in Montgomery County.

Two other men have been jailed on related rape charges, based on allegations the adoptive father hired out a 10-year-old boy for sex.

Ohio and Texas family services officials have been sharing details of the children's adoption from Texas and federal officials are investigating. The man's name is being withheld by The Associated Press to protect the children's identities.
