Coroner reviews death of Ohio man killed by bull

CHAMPION, Ohio (AP) -- A county coroner is investigating the death of an Ohio man who a witness says was killed by a bull after he tried coaxing the animal into his barn.

The witness, a neighbor who tried to help, told police he saw the bull repeatedly head-butting 62-year-old Daniel Currence of Champion in northeast Ohio late Thursday night.

The Warren Tribune Chronicle reports Saturday (http://bit.ly/IbG0kq ) that neighbor Tim Halbach tried to divert the bull's attention by throwing rocks and a post at it.

The paper says police officers responding to the scene found Currence face down and not moving.

Police say the bull was captured after being lured with food.

The Trumbull County Coroner's Office is investigating.
