VAIL, Colo. (AP) -- Vail Mountain and the Eldora Mountain Resort are celebrating their 50th anniversary ski seasons.
Vail Mountain will be dedicating a new gondola Friday that has cabins with heated seats and Wi-Fi access beginning later this month.
The Eldora Mountain Resort in Nederland is also opening on Friday after cold temperatures allowed it to make enough snow for a 20-inch base.
