More than 70 middle and high school students will lead worship Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Kent, 1435 E. Main St.
The largest part of the service will be a one-act play, The First Church of Petes Garage by Paul McCusker. With a cast of 18, the play uses humor to bring a powerful message about what it means to be a part of Christs church.
The service also will include another short drama, special music and a liturgical dance, featuring a 10-member team under the direction of Lesa Broadhead.
The youth will present the same service at both 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
Youth Sunday is an annual event at the church. Students will lead every aspect of the worship, serving as ushers, greeters, readers, musicians, actors and dancers.
