The United Methodist Women's circles of the United Methodist Church of Kent have established individual December circle activities.

Janus Circle members will meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at the home of Rebekah Kulis with Rachel Slippy assisting her sister. Members have adopted a family for the holidays and plan to remember them through gifts for the holiday. Each member is to bring an ornament for an exchange later in the evening.

Members of Miriam Circle will gather at 9 a.m. Dec. 5 in Pierson Hall. Following a devotional reading and mission message by Kathy Coltrin, a favorite Christmas craft session will take place. Co-hosting for the occasion will be Ginny Smith and Shirley Rog.

Judy Smith will host Rebecca Circle in her home for a salad dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Assisting will be Judy Price and Carole Stokes. Members are to bring a salad, their own table service, and a "white elephant" gift for later exchange. Each member is asked to bring a child's toy for later delivery to Kent Social Services.

Mary Reed members will open their holiday evening at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Patton House on West Main Street in Kent. Hostesses will be Ruth Anstine, Jane Hornyak and Mary Lou McGregor. Maryalice Seaholts plans to present both a devotion and mission message.
