Portage Faith United Methodist Church, 9922 S.R. 44, Mantua, will open the Advent season with a special service on Saturday.
The service will include a performance by the Chamber Singers of Crestwood High School, directed by Cassandra Rondinella.
This service begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by free doughnuts and coffee in the Fellowship Hall.
At 10:30 a.m., the popular Cookie Walk will open for participants to fill cans with homemade cookies for purchase. The church invites the public to participate.
