Moody Bible Institute to offer local classes

Published:

Adults Pastor Rob Cochran recently announced to the congregation of The Chapel in Marlboro that the church had entered into a strategic partnership with Moody Bible Institute of Chicago.

Following several months of laying groundwork that included the Ohio Department of Education, The Chapel in Marlboro will host an extension campus of the Moody Bible Institute.

Anthony Turner, director of extension sites of Moody Bible Institute, shared with the church the privilege of working with The Chapel in Marlboro in establishing this learning site and the hope that classes offered by Moody will commence in the spring.

Pastor of Adult Ministries Rob Cochran will serve as liaison with Moody Bible Institute.

The courses offered by Moody Bible Institute will be fully accredited and, initially, will lead to a two-year certificate in Biblical studies.

It is hoped that within a very short time a four-year, fully accredited degree will be offered at The Chapel in Marlboro. The two-year program will automatically transfer into the four-year program.

State Sen. Scott Oelslager also spoke to the congregation.

The Chapel in Marlboro is located at 8700 S.R. 619, between Hartville and Alliance. For more information, call Cochran at 330-935-0132.
