A group of women of Hiram Christian Church recently completed an outreach sewing project called "Little Dresses for Africa." These dresses were sent to girls in Africa living in orphanages, churches and schools. It is the group's belief that every girl should have a pretty dress. With the help of a quilt group in Mantua, the group was able to complete and send more than 100 dresses. Taking part in the project are, from left, Mary Evans, Betty Schriver, Karen Hinkle, Nancy Lacan, Elizabeth Hendricks and Roberta Zuver. Others who were involved in the project were Jane Moody, Lucy Etling, Marcia Muster and Judy Parsons.
