The Office of Worship of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown will sponsor the annual Liturgy Day from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 2, at St. Charles Parish in Boardman.
The Rev. Michael G. Woost, associate professor of Liturgical and Sacramental Theology at Saint Mary Seminary in Cleveland, will discuss "In the Mystery: Encountering God in Liturgy and Life."
Other workshops will provide further formation for deacons, parish staff, liturgy committees, musicians, lay leaders of prayer, liturgical ministers and anyone who is interested in the liturgy.
The cost of the day is $27 per person including lunch. After Jan. 24, the cost is $30 per person and lunch is not guaranteed. A registration form is included in the brochure.
