"Becoming Blessings for the World" is the theme for the next "Come and See" meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in McKeever Hall of Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron.
The speaker will be Dominican Sister Mary Ann Wiesemann Mills, adjunct professor of homiletics at St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology in Wickliffe.
The monthly "Come and See" programs are sponsored by the Summit District parishes of the Diocese of Cleveland.
They are intended for people with questions about the Catholic faith or for anyone who wants to learn more about the church and its teachings.
Following the presentation there will be discussions that will address a variety of topics, including Bible basics, coping with illness and bereavement, the sacraments, and marital separation, divorce and annulment.
Free literature and a lending library will be available. Refreshments will be served.
There is no cost, and reservations are not required.
