St. Thomas Aquinas honors distinguished alumni

Published:

The St. Thomas Aquinas High School community recently honored four individuals with its Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Rev. Michael Mikstay ('73), Dr. J. William Wulf ('77), Warden Margaret Bradshaw ('80), and Channel 8 Fox News broadcaster Stefani Schaefer ('89) were recognized for their achievements in their respective fields.

In addition, Bobbie and Susie Foss received the Distinguished Service Award for their many contributions. They have volunteered countless hours in numerous capacities including as St. Thomas Aquinas Home and School president and auction volunteers and for many other events and activities during -- and beyond -- their children's days at St. Thomas.

This event kicked off Catholic Schools Week. Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Dyer, president of St. Thomas Aquinas, and the Rev. Michael Mikstay. Judge Taryn Heath served as guest speaker and master of ceremonies.

The recognition event concluded with music from the St. Thomas Choir, under the direction of Mary Pusateri.
