The 183rd annual worldwide General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be broadcast live from The Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday and Sunday.
The live broadcast will be received locally at the Rootstown Chapel, 2776 Hartville Road, noon and 4 p.m. both days.
Speakers will include Thomas S. Monson, president of the Church, the counselors in the First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and other general authorities and general officers of the Church.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will provide the music for the Saturday morning and Sunday sessions of General Conference. The choir's broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word" will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
General Conference sessions are held the first weekends in April and October. More than 100,000 people attend conference sessions at The Conference Center and broadcasts are received in more than 175 countries and territories and translated into 94 languages.
