TED and Pizza set at UU Church of Kent

Published:

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Kent will continue its monthly program TED and pizza on Sunday.

The community may join this event at 12:45 p.m. in the lower level social hall of the church, Fessenden Hall, which is located at 228 Gougler Ave. in Kent.

Those attending will screen the TED talk "What Makes Life Meaningful" by Michael Steger.

Steger is an associate professor of psychology at Colorado State University. He has spent more than a decade researching people's ability to find meaning in their lives and the benefits of living a meaningful life.

In his talk, he will ask the question "What Makes Life Meaningful?" and will share what psychological science can tell about the answer. He is the co-editor of "Designing Positive Psychology" and the forthcoming "Purpose and Meaning in the Workplace."

Those planning to attend who would like pizza should email uukent@

sbcglobal.net or call the church office at 330-673-4247 so the organizers can be sure to order enough. Alternatively, those attending may bring their own lunch.
