Eva Volf`sgoal as an artist is to achieve a maximumsoothing effect by incorporating calming ocean scenery and beneficial color therapy into my atmospheric seascapes.

Fresh, luminous fine details, flickering light, the cast shadows and stunning aerial perspectives make Eva`srealistic seascapes so special and unique.

Eva paints herlarge seascapes in ahome studio (Aurora, Ohio) using en Plein Air studies of the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Lake Erie.

An outdoor sketch, along with thememories of being at the coast, gives herthe inspiration and mood sheneeds in the studio.

Heratmospheric seascapes take weeks and sometimes even months to complete.

And every time she looks at the completed painting sheexperiences the same calm and tranquility shewould feel while being at the coast.

Many collectors of herart say that theseocean paintings relieve stress as effectively as being by the actual ocean.

You’ll want to reach out and dip your fingers in the salty water as you breathe in the cool mist of the ocean air.

Eva Volf`spaintings are in numerous private collections in the USA, Europe, Asia, Canada and Australia.
