Along the banks of the Cuyahoga River sits a place of summertime memories, where families and friends can enjoy a day afloat. Family-owned Camp Hi Canoe and Kayak has been providing safe and enjoyable trips down the historic American Heritage River for more than 50 years. With rates ranging from $20 to $40, individuals and groups can make a day of their trip through the woodlands of Northern Portage County.
Trips range from 1-6 hours in length down the 25 miles of river used by Camp Hi between S.R 422 and Mantua.
Equipment can be provided or brought, with life jackets provided with every rental.. Rentals are available from April through October (as weather allows), with openings available 7-days-a-week from Memorial Day through Labor Day. On-site pavilions and shady meadows can be used for picnics. Call ahead for current prices and openings.
