Free tours of Playhouse Square

Freetours of Playhouse Square's historic 1921 theaters will be conducted on Saturdays through Nov. 2. Tours begin in the State Theatre Lobby at 10 a.m. and leave from that location at 15-minute intervals until 11:30 a.m. No reservations are needed for individual participants, but groups of 10 or more are asked to call ahead at (216) 771-4444. The tour will include peeks backstage and from the stage as well as facts and anecdotes from the past 86 years. The tour is about two hours.
