Heidrun Hultgren, of the KSU Art Dept. will speak about the Prose Edda, the creation of the world, the realm of the gods, the realm of Men and the realm of the giants. The Prose Edda was written down in Iceland in 1270 by Snorri Sturloson, an Icelandic historian and scholar. Most of this mythology is from before Iceland was discovered.
