Help celebrate President James A. Garfield's heritage and his 178th birthday on Nov. 14. Starting at his birth site (Moreland Hills Village Hall, 4350 SOM Center Road) at 9 a.m., volunteers will discuss Garfield's childhood. At 11 a.m. a The James A. Garfield National Historic Site, 8095 Mentor Ave., Cleveland, the tour will focus on the future president's campaign (entry fee applies). The day ends at the James A. Garfield Monument in Lake View Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the annual wreath laying ceremony.
