Hiram College Jazz Ensemble

The Hiram College Music Department is pleased to present an evening of jazz and African music at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in Frohring Recital Hall.

The Hiram College Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Paul Louth, visiting assistant professor of music, will perform a variety of standards, including "Summertime," "Autumn Leaves," and "It Never Entered My Mind," in addition to original material. The band's special guest will be jazz pianist Dave Zamos, who performs regularly around northeast Ohio. The jazz ensemble will be followed by the Hiram College African Ensemble, under the direction of Olugbala Manns. The ensemble will be performing authentic African music.

This concert is free and open to the public.
