McClintocksburg Road bridge to be replaced in Palmyra

The Portage County Engineer has announced plans to replace the existing McClintocksburg Road bridge over Kale Creek located just south of Williams Road in Palmyra.

The current single-span truss structure will be replaced with a three-span concrete slab bridge. The project includes work on the roadway approach to the bridge.

Portage County Engineer Michael Marozzi said he anticipates the bridge will be constructed in late summer or early fall this year.

The project will not impact cultural resources, hazardous waste sites or ecological resources. The project will not result in substantial impacts to the environment, either individually or cumulatively.
