The Portage County Health Department will hold a childhood immunization clinic and flu clinic for both children and adults today in Windham.
Both clinics will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Renaissance Family Center, 9005 Wilverne Drive.
Child immunization will be available for all children from 2 months to 18 years of age. Flu shots are recommended for everyone six months and older.
Child immunization cost is $10 per shot, free for those who can't pay.
Flu shots are $10 for children, $20 for adults.
Medicaid, Buckeye, Care Source, United Health, and Medicare (if primary insurance for adults) are accepted. Parents and guardians should bring immunization records for children.
The Portage County Health Department provides Childhood and Teen Immunization Clinic every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon.
This is a walk-in clinic, no appointment necessary. The clinic is located on the first floor of the Portage County Administration Building across from WIC at 449 S. Meridian St., Ravenna.
The PCHD Nursing Division also provides adult immunizations on Tuesdays from 8 to 10 a.m. by appointment only. Call 330-298-4490 to schedule an appointment.
