The Garrettsville Police Department and Save-A-Lot will sponsor a Fill-A-Cruiser event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Garrettsville police cruisers will be parked at the Save-A-Lot store at 8005 State St. to be filled with donations of nonperishable food items.
Food items will be donated to the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard, which provides food to those in need on an emergency basis. Cash donations also are welcome, and will benefit The People Tree.
