A tank exploded late Sunday night near 8407 Knox School Road in Alliance, The-Review.com reports.
The blast caused the lid of the tank to blow 500 feet in the air, coming to rest near a house, according to reports.
Hazmat crews were on scene along with fire departments from Minerva, Homeworth and North Georgetown, the Alliance Review reports.
