Skin Cancer Screening -- In recognition of "Healthy Aging Month:" Everyone is at risk for skin cancer. Anyone who has a mole or blemish that they would like a doctor to examine, should make an appointment for this free screening. Provided by Dr. Michelle Jahnke and Dr. Amber Blair, of New Horizons Dermatology. Registration is required.

American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR and AED Class: Includes infant, child, and adult CPR. Registration and fee required. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Portage County Ostomy Association Support Group: Provides support and education to individuals who have or will have an Ostomy or related surgery. Carry-in dinner (pot luck) for September.

Childbirth Preparation Series: Through this three-week course, anatomy, positioning, massage, labor process, relaxation, breathing techniques, interventions, natural childbirth, birth with medications, postpartum depression, infant care, self-care and more will be discussed. Registration and fee required.

Sharing Journeys Cancer Survivor Support Group: Meetings are open to those living with cancer, their families and friends. 6 to 7 p.m. is for newly diagnosed.
