Tracy Fellenstein earns Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in June

Tracy Fellenstein recently earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the American Sentinel University in Denver, Colo.

The commencement took place on June 20 at the Boettcher Concert Hall in the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

Dr. Fellenstein's capstone detailed the "Effect ‚Äčof Evidence-Based Education About Influenza Vaccination On Health Care Personnel."

She received her undergraduate registered nursing degree from the University of the State of New York and her master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Dr. Fellenstein is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Golden Key International Honour Society.

She has resided in Las Vegas, Nev., for the past 20 years, and is the Area Director of Education at Kindred Hospital.

She is the daughter of Jim and Karen Fellenstein of Mantua, the sister of Kristin Ristau of Hiram, and the fiancée of Dr. Douglas Stewart of Las Vegas.
