2 shot, 1 dead in Columbus gas station shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Police in Columbus are looking for a gunman who fatally shot one man and seriously wounded another as they sat in a car at a gas station.

It happened at about 6 p.m. Monday at a Sunoco station on the city's east side.

One of the men in the car, 26-year-old Marvin Ector, was pronounced dead at the scene. Thirty-one-year-old Darnell Gannon was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

Initial reports were that a green truck fled after the shooting. Homicide detectives are investigating.
