BETTSVILLE, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a vacant home has exploded in northwest Ohio.
WTOL-TV in Toledo (http://bit.ly/1opBTa3 ) reports a sheriff's dispatcher confirmed the explosion happened in Bettsville, a Seneca County village roughly 35 miles southeast of Toledo.
There was no immediate word Thursday on the cause of the explosion or whether anyone was hurt. The director of the county's Emergency Management Agency told the television station that the home's owner had died and no one was living there.
