COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Wintery weather is coming back to Ohio.
Following a warm, sunny weekend and mild start to the work week, temperatures are expected to drop sharply on Tuesday -- bringing a chance of snow to many parts of the state.
The National Weather Service expects highs to stay in the 30s on Tuesday, with lows dipping into the 20s. A wintry mix of rain and snow is expected to greet commuters Tuesday morning.
Many parts of the state could get an inch of snow, but because the ground is warm it probably won't stay around long.
The state will see a gradual warm-up, with lots of rain and highs in the 60s expected by the weekend.
The latest snowfall comes nearly a month after the official start of spring.
