TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Winter temperatures are refusing to go away in northwestern Ohio.

The thermometer dropped to 19 degrees in Toledo Wednesday morning, breaking a 139-year-old record for the same date set in 1875.

It was a harsh reminder of winter after temperatures rose into the 70s over the past weekend.

Another round of snow on Tuesday pushed Toledo's record-breaking snowfall total for the season to just above 86 inches. That's 13 inches higher than the previous record set in 1978.

No more snow is in the forecast as temperatures are expected to rise into the 60s by Thursday.
