FOSTORIA -- A detective investigating a northwestern Ohio house fire that killed two people says one of the suspects believed that Danny Marker Jr., the home's owner had been sexually abusing a child.
Three people are charged in connection with the fire in Fostoria just over a week ago. It was ruled arson.
A Fostoria detective told a judge Tuesday that revenge was the motive for the fire. He said one suspect had told police before the fire that Marker had been sexually assaulting a child.
The detective said police were investigating allegations before the fire.
State records show Marker was a registered sex offender.
Both Marker and the woman who died were hearing impaired.
