TOLEDO -- Twenty-six people have been indicted in federal court for their alleged roles in a Toledo drug trafficking conspiracy.
Law enforcement officials say the defendants have conspired since 2010 to bring large amounts of heroin, cocaine and marijuana to Toledo from Arizona, California, Illinois and Mexico.
Twenty-four of those indicted are from Toledo. Two others are from Curtice and Oregon, Ohio. Three of the defendants also face charges of possessing a firearm as felons.
The 55-count indictment filed Thursday detailed a number of transactions and drug sales throughout Toledo.
Pretrial conferences for some of the defendants have been set for Oct. 20.
