On Friday, the LifeTimes section of the Record-Courier will debut a new weekly column dedicated to the varied interests of women entitled, Fitting In, written by Debbie Darling. From Fashion to Fitness to Feng-shui and everything in between, Darling will share her expertise, humor and insights.

Darling is the author of the book and tape series Upsize Woman in a Downsize World, Blueberry Hill: The Power of Love, and Dress to Look Your Best: Fashion Secrets the Experts Dont Share. Her new book, Believe It to See It, will be out in September.

In addition to being an author, Darling is an international speaker and corporate trainer specializing in issues of self-acceptance, self-esteem and self-image for women. She is an expert in the fields of image and personal growth and development. Until May of this year, she was the national spokesman for the largest retailer of womens plus size clothing in the country, Catherines Plus Sizes.

Darling is a resident of Garrettsville, where she runs Blueberry Hill Bed and Breakfast. Her extensive travels inspired her new venture Voyager: Journeys for the Soul, created to reconnect women with their feminine spirits by traveling to sacred places rich in feminine history. Her new company sets off on its maiden voyage in May to France.

From choreographing and commentating fashion shows to personal appearances on radio and television, including The Richard Simmons Show, Hard Copy and The Oprah Winfrey Show, she has helped thousands of women create a new and improved image for themselves. Be on the lookout for Fitting In on Friday in the LifeTimes section of the Record-Courier.
