Members of the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna heard a presentation by Nell and Jim Orndorf about the Quaker Oat Mill of Ravenna, which was founded in 1877. The company later became the national-lyknown Quaker Oats Co. The couple came to the church recently from their Akron home at the invitation of local historian Richard Rufener. A display showing photos of the original Quaker Oat Mill of Ravenna was presented in the churchs assembly room.
