The Pierce-Streetsboro Branch of the Portage County District Library recently spent a day celebrating the Chinese New Year with several activities related to the holiday. Displaying their in-progress dragon puppets are, from left, Adrianna Scopilliti, 5, Ashley Scopilliti, 7, and Halle Butt, 4. Participants also played games, listened to youth services librarian Ingrid Wenger read books about the holiday and received real Chinese coins to place in the red envelopes they made during the celebration.
