More than 20 area children took part in the Valentines Day party held during storytime at the Randolph Branch of the Portage County District Library. Activities during the celebration included reading a Valentine story, making a mouse out of paper hearts, finger plays, and songs. Following the exchange of Valentines and treats, the 4-and 5-year-old children took part in a rousing round of hokey-pokey, led by Cathy Ridgeway, right, youth services librarian.
