Tickets are now available for the Kent State University Womens Scholarship Dinner and Silent Auction March 4 in the KSU Student Center Ballroom.
The event will be held to raise money for an endowment fund that will permit the university to grant an undergraduate female student a $500 scholarship each year. Event organizers hope to double the $2,800 figure that was raised last year.

Ammar will speak on In the Company of the Nile: Women and Ecological Justice in Contemporary Egypt. Following Ammars presentation, final bidding will take place from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. with the winners to be announced at 8 p.m.
