Area artists are creating glassworks for their show, Glass Works I, new works by Todd Abell, John Boyett and Mark Wentz, opening with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, running through March 15, at Millworks Gallery, Inc., 106 N. Main St., Akron. Forming the molten glass into a fluted pitcher are, from left, Wentz and Abell, both of Kent. Gallery hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The exhibition is co-hosted by Millworks and neighboring Architectural Greenery, Inc., which will exhibit hand blown glass by local and national craftsmen along with a variety of custom made silk plants and containers for interior plantscaping.
