Twenty members of Coterie I and one guest met recently at the Patton House in Kent for a luncheon, program and business meeting. The tables were decorated for Presidents Day with red, white and blue flower arrangements, ribbons and pennies scattered around. Hostesses were Ruth Ann Lis, Cathy Smith and Carleen Lostoski.
The featured speaker, Terry Montz, owner of Country Elegance family home in Edinburg, spoke about the expectations of aging and the ability of coping with the situation. He explained that a family home has a one to five caregiver to resident ratio.
The business meeting was conducted by Mary Lou Phipps, vice president.
The group will meet again at noon today at the Patton House for a program on hospice.
