Kari and Robert Scherer of Kent announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Nicole Scherer. Emma arrived Jan. 24 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Doris and Robert Feigert of Ravenna, and Johnny and Susie Blevins of Akron. Beverly and Clifford Scherer of Kent are the babys paternal grandparents.
Great-grandparents are Laverne and Robert McDonald and Beatrice Blevins, all of Akron, and Gloria Hill of Stow.
