KSU retired faculty to hear history

Emeritus professor of English Thomas Davis will give a presentation on William Tilgham during the Kent State University Retired Faculty Associations meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Manchester Lounge, Room 122 in the KSU library.

Davis, born and reared in a small town in Kansas and the great-grand-uncle of Tilgham, will deliver his speech William (Bill) Tilgham: Guardian of the Law. After many years as a noted specialist in American colonial history, Davis has in recent years been studying the literature of the American West.
