The Mantua American Legion and Auxiliary No. 193 will hold their annual monthly Soup Supper on Friday. All proceeds will go to Summer Hurd, a 6-year-old Shalersville resident who has cancer.
The supper will be held at 6 p.m. at the Mantua Village Park Lodge and will feature a large variety of homemade soups, salads, desserts and the hot dog bar.
The event is open to the public. The cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Anyone without funds may eat free as a guest of the legion.
