Hospice speaker addresses Coterie

Mary Rak Published:

Coterie I met at the Patton House recently for a luncheon, business meeting and to hear speaker, Ken Wasiniak. Wasiniak, manager of Hospice at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna since 1998, has worked in the field of mental health since 1990. He came to the hospital from Canton Mercy Hospital.

In attendance were 19 members who were seated at tables decorated with potted plants. Hosting the function were Darlene Kousaie, Betty Harrington and Liz Robinson who presented some winners with plants from the tables.

Carolyn Scherer, Coterie I president, conducted the business meeting.

The group meets at noon tomorrow at the Patton House in Kent for luncheon and program entitled, Trash and Treasure.
