Robert Diss recovery from surgery

Robert Diss, a retired Kent Police officer, recently had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic to remove his esophagus.

Diss is scheduled to stay in the hospital for about two weeks, then continue his recovery at home for several months.

He grew up in the Brady Lake area and worked on the Erie Lawk Railroad. He is a member of the Portage County Fraternal Order of Police.
