David and Karen Cheney of Kent announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann-Marie Cheney, to Joseph Cvrk III, son of Joseph Cvrk of Mantua. The bride-elect is a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent. She is employed as a cosmetologist in Stow. Her fianc also is a Roosevelt graduate and attended the National Institute of Technology in Cuyahoga Falls. He is employed at Allied Van Lines in Solon. A May 15, 2004 wedding is planned at St. Patrick Church in Kent.
