Students at Our Country Preschool in Suffield recently spent a week in the classroom visiting Hawaii. Julia Mattingly, left, and Emily Petit play on the beach. Students brought suitcases to class at the beginning of the week for their flight to Hawaii. Then with the thermostat set in the 80s for a genuine Hawaiian effect, they spent the week making flower leis, fishing in the swimming pool, playing in the sand and eating Hawaiian-themed snacks.
