Former Ravenna resident Matthew D. Simpkins, son of William and Peggy Simpkins of Fredericksburg, has been named to the deans list at Ohio Northern University in Ada for the winter quarter 2002-03.
Simpkins is a senior at Ohio Northern majoring in communication arts.
The deans list includes students who attain a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 grading system.
